i. Dance Weekend Retreat with Areerat K. Tri-siddha, 23 – 25 May
Areerat K. Tri-siddha is a certified yoga teacher and a DANCEmandala and biodanza facilitator/trainer. Based in Chiang Mai, where she runs the Yoga Tree Centre, she trained at Triyoga and the Dorset School of Biodanza in the Uk. She currently teaches yoga and meditative dance, leads regular workshops, and conducts teacher grooming (DANCEmandala) in northern Thailand.
2. Insight Meditation Retreat with Grahame White and Pandit Bikkhu, 19 – 24 Oct
Grahame White has been involved in Buddhist meditation practice for over xl years. He began his written report in England in 1969 before being ordained as a Buddhist monk for ane year in Bodhgaya, India in 1971. He took a primary role in the establishment of Vipassana meditation in the tradition of Mahasi Sayadaw in Australia and co-founded the Blue Mountains Insight Meditation Centre outside of Sydney. Grahame leads meditation retreats in the Illawarra & Sydney areas in Australia, in Honolulu, Hawaii with the meditation group Vipassana Hawaii, and in Sri Lanka with the Nirodha Trust. He has also helped pioneer a workshop format that enhances the transfer of mindfulness from the formal sitting exercise into daily life. Grahame returns to Myanmar (Burma) regularly in lodge to teach and to deepen his own practise and study of the Buddha'southward teachings. He teaches a classical tradition of insight meditation with a relaxed, accessible way.
Pandit Bikkhu (Pandit Cittasamvaro) is the organiser behind the Little Bangkok Sangha. A British-born Bhikkhu of 17 years, he ordained as a Buddhist monk at Wat Luang Phor Sodh in Rajaburi Province in 1996. 4 years later he moved to Wat Paknam, Bhasicharoen and attained a degree in psychology at the monastic university. He has had feel in the meditation styles of Mahasi Sayadaw, Ajahn Chah, Dhammakaya, and some Tibetan practice. However, Pandit Bhikkhu claims no lineage other than Buddhism. His own approach uses reflection on the six senses to concord the listen in empty alert sensation. His interests include psychology, faerie tales, and other mystic religious traditions.
3. Adjustment With Your Life's Purpose Yoga Retreat with Kim Roberts, 12-16 November
Kim Roberts earned her Masters degree in Psychology from Naropa University, where she was originally trained every bit a Contemplative Psychotherapist.
